This may fall into the "dumb question" category but I just upgraded from Visual Standard to Visual Pro with Imaging. I have a SeeStar S30 Pro and have taken a few images (as much as my sleeping and NE FL skies would allow) and decided to upgrade to get a bit more knowledgeable on the exposure recommendations etc.
My conundrum is I can't seem to a) figure out how to enter camera information and b) get any hint of imaging in the program. Obviously I am missing something. ChatGPT infers that I need to pen the "Imaging" program but I do not see any program other than ST4 in my Skyhound directory.
What am I missing in this equation?

Hello,
It appears you may be looking for SkyTools in the Programs folder, but what you need is the shortcut that was installed. Microsoft keeps changing how this works, but all of your programs are installed as "Apps" and those "Apps" are the shortcuts. Looking at Windows 11 on my laptop, it appears that the latest version has made the shortcuts even less visible. Idiots. If you click on the Start Menu. Not File Explorer. You will see your "pinned shortcuts" at the top. Scroll down and look for the Other category. You should see something listed as SkyTools 4, and the icon will show two smaller icons. Click on that and it will open the folder with both shorcuts in it. You need the SkyTools 4 Imaging shortcut. Open that one.

Hi Don,
What version of Windows are you running? I'm running Windows 10 and SkyTools Visual and Imaging both show up in the Start Menu that I access by Clicking the Windows icon at the bottom left of my Task bar or by pressing the Windows key on the keyboard. Scroll down to the SkyTools 4 entry, click on it and you should see both the Imaging and Visual programs listed. I recommend that you then Pin each program to the Start bar for easier access. That way you don't have to keep scrolling down to the "S's" to accesses SkyTools each time.
I'm not sure if Windows 11 works the same way, though.
