So, I'm wondering something. You guys keep talking about matching HORIZONS as if it is the gold standard. And it is the gold standard, but only because they perturb the elements to whatever epoch you want. That does not mean they are accurate, or even more accurate than the MPC... There are a lot of other reasons for elements to be inaccurate. Ultimately, its how well they predict actual observations that matters. Are you guys comparing positions to HORIZONS in order to ensure that the perturbations are correct, or are you assuming that HORIZONS is always correct in the broader sense?
