GSC 08225-985 (J111827.8-520821) RA 11:18:11.37 DEC -52:07:12.6 (J2000). Is it a DSO?

Hi Phil

The UHC framing did not capture any galaxies, the one I recorded previously in the LUM series on 12th June was just outside the FOV. Sad

However, I did download the 2nd Generation DSS Red and Blue Images and they do show a fuzzy object as well, much brighter in the Blue Plate.

Thanks for your suggestions in this investigation Phil, I do appreciate your input. Smile

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks BMD, I'd forgotten about this one and as we've been clouded out for several weeks now (typical Qld weather for our summer), astronomy has taken a back seat, so I'll have to climb back on the horse and take a look at this.

Cheers
