Mystery solved: Missing Observation log dialog box was "off screen"

Hi Phil. Thanks - I actually looked there first. I can see the stack of objects in the right -hand pane, but try as I might, I can't get them to "open up" (i.e., show me the contents of what I wrote in the log entry). Could something be "broken" in my system? When I click on an object and then click "View," nothing happens. I've shut down and opened again in case something was awry with a corrupt call or something. I can't see the contents *anywhere*.
