What star catalogue is used for the stars that use identifiers like j003742.2-324244?
It is a star that is in the ring of the Cartwheel galaxy. It comes up as a GSC nonstar in some other software.

Hello,
Those stars are faint stars for which we only know the position and a rough magnitude, and were derived from different source catalogs at the time the star database was last built (before the Gaia releases). If the source was the GSC it would have been noted as a GSC star. My best guess would be the USNO-A2 catalog. This might be an artifact, or possibly a variable star that spends much of its time much fainter.
Clear skies,
