MP 2022 AB - PMSchu - 2022-01-12 The MP 2022 AB is predicted to reach max brightness tonight ~3:30 EST in Gemini. The predicted path is shown here: [attachment=2186] Closest approach doesn't occur until 2022 Jan 20, but it will be fainter than 17th magnitude then. Good hunting, Phil S. I've got it closest (3701548Km) ~7:19CST on the 20th at magnitude 15.5 and brightest on Jan 17th ~20:00CST at mag 15.3. Tonight, at a distance of 5140864Km, I have it at mag 15.8ish crossing my southern meridian 81° up at 00:29CST. H=23.53. |
