Can't see check marks in preferences

There is nothing out of the ordinary about your laptop. It's running Windows 10, which is typical. This particular problem can't be blamed on outside forces, such as a rabid anti-virus. It's not a screen paint issue, and is not limited to a specific version or edition of SkyTools. Nobody else has ever reported a similar problem.

It would appear that there is something broken in your installation of Windows 10. I apologize that I don't know what to suggest to fix it, having never seen anything like this before. I did search for similar problems for Windows in general, but came up empty. You will probably be tempted to tell me that all of your other apps work fine, but there are a lot of variations on the checkbox, so this wouldn't really surprise me. Regardless, it is Windows that ultimately draws the checkboxes.

I don't know if it is really worth doing something drastic like re-installing Windows.
Clear skies,

SkyTools Developer
Thanks for trying, I'll just have to live with it.
Hi teebark,

I've been running SkyTools 3 Pro for several years on a desktop with a GeForce GTX 760 video card. I started with Win 7 and upgraded to Win 10 v1803. I am currently running ST3 Pro v3.2k the same as you. I also run Malwarebytes and Norton anti-virus with no issues.

I wonder if you've tried to click on the black boxes and what happens when you do?
