Hi all,
I updated the current lists from web and the comet data is from 1st February.
Is this correct? Iwamoto e.g. was not at the place which Skytools showed.

The comet data is normally only updated at the beginning of the month as with the minor planet data. The current nova and supernova data is usually updated during the month. The C/2018 Y1 orbit was only calculated form a short arc so it may be off slightly. Just the joy of comets.

The source for C/2018 Y1 (Iwamoto) in my SkyTools 3 Pro is listed as: MPEC 2018-Y69.
The source in SkyTools 4 Imaging is listed as: MPEC 2019-B48. The ST4i data looks to be more recent. The value of e is 1.00000 in ST3 Pro and 0.986535000 in ST4i. The other elements are also slightly different.
You could try updating your orbital elements. How far was the calculated position off from your observations? Good enough to find it?
